Vietnam, Kazakhstan Join Hands to Build Economic-Financial Connectivity Corridor

Astana: As part of his working trip to Kazakhstan, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh met with Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin on February 2. The meeting focused on discussing concrete steps to implement the Strategic Partnership framework, which was established during General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam's visit to Kazakhstan in May of the previous year.

According to Vietnam News Agency, on the same day, the Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister also visited the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC). During his visit, he met with Nurlan Zhakupov, the CEO of Kazakhstan's National Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna. The discussions aimed to strengthen economic and financial ties between the two nations as part of the broader connectivity corridor initiative.
