Hanoi: Vietnamese Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan on August 21 paid courtesy calls on General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith and Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone as part of her two-day official visit to Laos. Later the same day, Vice President Xuan held talks with her Lao counterpart Pany Yathotou.

According to Vietnam News Agency, these meetings highlight the ongoing efforts by both nations to strengthen their special relationship and comprehensive cooperation. The interactions between the leaders of Vietnam and Laos underscore the importance both countries place on maintaining and enhancing their longstanding partnership.
