Vietnam, Australia Step Up Cooperation in Agriculture, Environment

Sydney: The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in coordination with the Vietnamese Consulate General in Sydney, hosted the ‘Vietnam – Australia Forum on trade promotion, cooperation in training and human resources development in agriculture and environment’ on August 21. The event was part of a working visit to Australia by a delegation from the ministry led by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment, Tran Thanh Nam, and included representatives from Vietnamese training institutions and enterprises.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the forum aimed to strengthen ties between Vietnam and Australia in the sectors of agriculture and environment. The meeting facilitated discussions on trade promotion, as well as the development of training and human resources, which are crucial for both countries. The collaboration seeks to enhance knowledge exchange and foster partnerships that could lead to sustainable practices in these vital sectors.
