Vietnamese, Chinese Legislative Bodies Enhance Collaboration

Beijing: Vice Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) Tran Quang Phuong held talks with Zhang Qingwei, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) of China, in Beijing on August 21, within the framework of his working visit to China.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this meeting marks an important step in strengthening the cooperative ties between the legislative bodies of Vietnam and China. Both sides discussed various aspects of collaboration and explored avenues to enhance legislative exchange and cooperation.

The meeting underscored the commitment of both nations to advance mutual understanding and support in legislative practices. The discussions aim to create a more conducive environment for bilateral relations and to address common challenges through legislative means.

This visit is part of ongoing efforts to deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries, focusing on legislative collaboration as a key component of their diplomatic relations.
