Hanoi: The Vietnamese Embassy in Laos hosted a banquet in Vientiane on August 28 to mark the 81st anniversary of the success of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945-2026) and the National Day of Vietnam (September 2, 1945-2026).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event underscored the importance of the relationship between Vietnam and Laos, highlighting how the bilateral ties have been instrumental in the revolutionary successes of both nations. The ambassador emphasized the historical significance of the August Revolution and the shared commitment to fostering continued cooperation and solidarity between the two countries.
