The hague: Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang and her Dutch counterpart Marcel De Vink co-chaired the first deputy ministerial-level political consultation between Vietnam and the Netherlands in The Hague. Deputy Minister De Vink emphasized the strengthening bilateral relations, highlighting the importance of recent high-level visits.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the political consultation reflected the growing partnership between the two nations, which was further cemented by the visit of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to the Netherlands in December 2022 and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s visit to Vietnam in November 2023. These visits have paved the way for increased collaboration and understanding between the two countries.
