Hanoi:A workshop organized by the National APEC 2027 Secretariat, in collaboration with the US Department of State, commenced in Hanoi on October 1 to discuss the preparations for the APEC 2027 conference.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this two-day workshop follows an initial event held in April 2026 and is focused on the organization, management, and coordination necessary for the summit. The event brought together representatives from various ministries, sectors, APEC 2027 sub-committees, local authorities, the APEC Secretariat, and international partners.

The discussions at the workshop aim to ensure effective preparations and highlight Vietnam's role in hosting APEC 2027 as a key foreign affairs task through 2030.
