Vietnam Ready to Collaborate with Canada for Bilateral Relationship Upgrade: FM

Hanoi: Vietnam is poised to collaborate with Canada to enhance and deepen their cooperation, aiming to upgrade their bilateral relationship framework. This initiative aligns with the political trust, cooperation potential, and interests of the citizens of both nations, as stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung on July 28. During a meeting with Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam James Nickel, Trung commended the ambassador's endeavors to advance the Vietnam-Canada Comprehensive Partnership through proactive exchanges and engagement with various Vietnamese ministries, sectors, and localities.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting underscored the commitment of both nations to solidify their partnership. The minister acknowledged the ambassador's active role in fostering bilateral ties and emphasized the importance of elevating the relationship to better serve the mutual interests and aspirations of Vietnam and Canada.
