Vietnam Ready to Work with APEC Economies to Advance Sustainable Forest Management

Hanoi: A Vietnamese delegation led by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Quoc Tri attended the APEC Ministerial Meeting on Forestry themed 'Toward an Asia-Pacific that advances forest resilience and ecological well-being for all' in Shenzhen, Guangdong province of China, on July 28.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting gathered representatives from various APEC economies to discuss collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing forest resilience and promoting ecological well-being across the Asia-Pacific region. Vietnam expressed its commitment to work with APEC members to advance sustainable forest management practices.

The event emphasized the significance of joint efforts in addressing environmental challenges and underscored the importance of sustainable forestry for ecological and economic stability.
