Vietnam, RoK Scholars Discuss Diplomatic Perspectives Amid Modern East Asia

Hanoi: Scholars from Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) gathered in Hanoi on May 28 for an international workshop that looked into the two countries' international and diplomatic perspectives in the context of modern East Asia. The workshop was jointly organised by the Institute of History under the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) and the RoK's Northeast Asian History Foundation (NAHF) within the framework of a cooperation memorandum between the two sides.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event provided a platform for scholars to share insights and engage in discussions on how Vietnam and the RoK can navigate the evolving geopolitical landscape in East Asia. The workshop aimed to enhance understanding and foster closer cooperation between the two nations, reflecting their shared interests in maintaining regional stability and development.

The collaboration between VASS and NAHF is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic ties and promote mutual understanding between Vietnam and the RoK. By exploring diplomatic and international perspectives, both countries aim to contribute positively to the peace and prosperity of the East Asian region.
