Vietnam Seeks to Bolster Nuclear Energy Collaboration with Bulgaria

Varna: Vietnam wishes to strengthen nuclear energy cooperation with Bulgaria, particularly in human resources training, scientific research, and the sharing of operational and management expertise, said Vietnamese Ambassador to Bulgaria Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet. She made the remark while addressing an annual international conference on Bulgarian nuclear energy and national, regional, and global energy security, held in Varna city from June 10 to 12.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Ambassador Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet emphasized the potential benefits of enhanced cooperation between Vietnam and Bulgaria in the nuclear energy sector. This collaboration aims to leverage Bulgaria's experience and expertise in nuclear energy to support Vietnam's energy goals, focusing on areas such as training personnel, advancing scientific research, and improving operational management skills.

The conference, which gathered experts and stakeholders in the field, served as a platform for discussing future energy security strategies and exploring international cooperation opportunities. Nguyen's remarks highlighted Vietnam's commitment to pursuing sustainable energy solutions and its interest in learning from Bulgaria's nuclear energy advancements.
