Hanoi: The Vietnam Semiconductor Industry Exhibition 2024 (SEMIExpo Vietnam 2024) opened at the National Innovation Centre in Hanoi on November 7, under the theme of “Elevating Vietnam in the Global Semiconductor Supply Chain”. The two-day event, the first and largest of its kind in Vietnam, is being held by the National Innovation Centre (NIC) under the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Semiconductor Industry Association (SEMI) – a global organisation with more than 3,000 member companies, and 1.5 million professionals in the semiconductor and electronics design, manufacturing, and supply chains worldwide.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the exhibition aims to showcase Vietnam’s growing role in the global semiconductor industry. It brings together industry leaders, experts, and professionals to discuss trends, innovations, and strategies to enhance Vietnam’s position in the semiconductor supply chain. The event features a wide range of exhibits from both local and international companies, highlight
ing the latest advancements in semiconductor technology and manufacturing.

The exhibition also includes a series of seminars and panel discussions, providing a platform for knowledge exchange and networking. Participants have the opportunity to engage with industry experts and explore potential collaborations to drive growth and innovation in the semiconductor sector. The event underscores Vietnam’s commitment to developing a robust and competitive semiconductor industry, contributing to its economic growth and technological advancement.
