Da nang: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and State President To Lam on May 30 met with Lee Hsien Loong, Senior Minister, senior advisor to the People's Action Party, and former Prime Minister of Singapore. The meeting took place on the occasion of the top Vietnamese leader's state visit to Singapore.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions between To Lam and Lee Hsien Loong focused on strengthening bilateral relations. Both leaders emphasized the importance of cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore within the ASEAN framework.
