Vietnam-Singapore Ties: A Cooperation Model in ASEAN

Da nang: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and State President To Lam on May 30 met with Lee Hsien Loong, Senior Minister, senior advisor to the People's Action Party, and former Prime Minister of Singapore. The meeting took place on the occasion of the top Vietnamese leader's state visit to Singapore.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions between To Lam and Lee Hsien Loong focused on strengthening bilateral relations. Both leaders emphasized the importance of cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore within the ASEAN framework. They also explored opportunities for collaboration in various sectors, including trade, investment, and technology.

The meeting highlighted the commitment of both nations to further enhance their partnership and serve as a model of cooperation in the region. Both leaders expressed their mutual interest in continuing to support each other's development goals and addressing common challenges in Southeast Asia.
