Da nang: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and State President To Lam requested the Vietnamese community in Singapore to continue serving as a bridge for the two countries' friendship. This request was made during a meeting with staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community on May 30, as part of his state visit to the country.
According to Vietnam News Agency, To Lam emphasized the important role that the Vietnamese community plays in fostering and strengthening the relationship between Vietnam and Singapore. He urged the community to continue their efforts in promoting cultural exchange and mutual understanding between the two nations. The meeting served as an opportunity to reinforce the commitment to bilateral cooperation and the shared goals of both countries.
