Hanoi: The Vietnam Summer Camp 2026 commenced in Hanoi on July 3, featuring the involvement of 105 young overseas Vietnamese from 35 countries and territories.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has organized a journey for the participants across eight localities in northern, central, and southern Vietnam. These localities include Ha Noi, Ninh Binh, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Gia Lai, and Khanh Hoa.

The camp aims to strengthen the connection between young overseas Vietnamese and their cultural roots while providing them with a comprehensive experience of Vietnam's diverse regions. The itinerary includes a variety of cultural, historical, and educational activities designed to enhance the participants' understanding and appreciation of their heritage.

The initiative is part of a broader effort to engage the overseas Vietnamese community and foster lasting ties with their homeland.
