Bangkok: Vietnam and Thailand have underscored the significance of preserving and promoting their rich cultural heritage during an official visit to Thailand. As part of this diplomatic engagement, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and State President To Lam's spouse, Ngo Phuong Ly, met with Thananon Charnvirakul, spouse of Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, marking their first meeting in the culturally vibrant city of Bangkok.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting emphasized the importance of cultural exchange and mutual respect between the two nations. Dressed in traditional Thai attire, Ngo Phuong Ly and Thananon Charnvirakul visited prominent cultural landmarks, including the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles, both situated within the historic grounds of the Thai Grand Palace. This visit highlights the deep cultural bonds and shared commitment of Vietnam and Thailand to safeguard their cultural heritage for future generations.
