Ho Chi Minh City to Enhance Job Opportunities for Disabled Youth

Bangkok: The Ho Chi Minh City Child Welfare Association (HCWA) and Save the Children have initiated a significant conference aimed at expanding vocational training and employment opportunities for disabled children and young people. This initiative, launched on May 28, is set to take place over the period from 2026 to 2028 and is part of a broader social support effort in Vietnam's southern metropolis.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the conference represents a strategic move to address the challenges faced by disabled young individuals in accessing employment. By focusing on skill development and job readiness, the initiative seeks to empower this demographic, ensuring they are better equipped to enter the workforce. The collaboration between HCWA and Save the Children underscores a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where all young people, regardless of their abilities, have access to meaningful employment opportunities.
