Tunis: The Vietnam Trade Office in Algeria and Tunisia, in collaboration with the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA), recently organized a hybrid business-matching conference. This event was part of its working trip to Tunis from June 7 to 12. The conference aimed to strengthen economic and trade relations between Vietnam and Tunisia by focusing on key sectors such as coffee and olive oil. According to Vietnam News Agency, the conference was attended by 30 Vietnamese and Tunisian companies. Abdessalem Loued, Commissioner of the UTICA National Executive Office, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the annual matchmaking event as an effective platform for fostering stronger economic and trade ties. The collaboration aims to leverage the strengths of both countries, with Vietnam known for its coffee production and Tunisia for its high-quality olive oil.
