Vietnam, UK Advance Strategic Cooperation in Agriculture, Environment

Bishkek: Building on the Vietnam-UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, a working visit to the UK by a delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, led by Minister Trinh Viet Hung from August 27-29, has laid a foundation for long-term cooperation in agriculture, environment, climate change response, and sustainable development.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit aimed to strengthen bilateral ties and explore collaborative opportunities in crucial sectors. Discussions focused on enhancing agricultural productivity, addressing environmental challenges, and implementing effective climate change mitigation strategies. This initiative underscores the commitment of both nations to sustainable practices and mutual growth.

The visit included meetings with key UK officials and stakeholders, fostering dialogue and sharing knowledge on best practices in agriculture and environmental management. The collaboration is expected to result in joint projects and initiatives that will benefit both countries economically and environmentally.
