Bishkek: Son La Province held the opening ceremony of the 2026 Moc Chau Culture and Tourism Week and Son La International Brocade Festival at May 8 Square in Moc Chau Ward on August 31, 2026, under the theme "Weaving Heritage, Blending Colors."

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event aims to celebrate and promote the rich cultural heritage of the Moc Chau region, showcasing traditional crafts and the vibrant brocade weaving industry.
