Hanoi: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam, along with a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, is set to participate in the high-level general debate of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 81).

According to Vietnam News Agency, UN Resident Coordinator in Vietnam, Pauline Tamesis, emphasized the evolving cooperation between Vietnam and the United Nations. She highlighted how Vietnam has transitioned from being a recipient of support to becoming an active contributor to global peace and sustainable development. The participation of Vietnam's delegation in the UNGA 81 is seen as a testament to this growing partnership.
