Hanoi: The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations and the Vietnam-Uzbekistan Friendship Association (VUFA) recently hosted a ceremony in Hanoi on August 22. The event marked the 30th anniversary of the association and served as a gathering for individuals who have studied, worked in, or developed an affinity for Uzbekistan.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the ceremony also celebrated Vietnam's 81st National Day, which falls on September 2, and Uzbekistan's 35th Independence Day, observed on September 1. The event highlighted the ongoing efforts to strengthen diplomatic relations between the two countries through people-to-people connections.
