Vietnamese and Russian News Agencies Discuss Cooperation to Boost Strategic Partnership

Hainan: General Director of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) Vu Viet Trang, and Director General of the Russian news agency TASS Andrey Kondrashov discussed specific cooperation directions to improve communication effectiveness, thus contributing to enhancing the Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership at their meeting on December 3. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 57th Executive Board Meeting of the Organisation of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) held in China’s Hainan province.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions between VNA and TASS focused on identifying new areas of collaboration that could lead to more effective communication strategies. This initiative is seen as a pivotal step towards reinforcing the long-standing relationship between Vietnam and Russia, which has been marked by mutual cooperation and strategic interests.

The leaders of both news agencies emphasized the importance of adapting to rapidly evolving media landscapes and exploring innovative ways to disseminate information. This collaboration aims to not only enhance bilateral communication but also to serve the broader interests of the Asia-Pacific region by providing accurate and timely news coverage.
