Lang son: Border guard stations in the northern province of Lang Son have partnered with Chinese border forces and local authorities to carry out a legal awareness campaign for residents living along the shared border. This initiative, which took place from November 7-10, aimed to enhance understanding of legal protocols and border management among the local populace.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the four-day program involved the distribution of thousands of leaflets to residents. These leaflets covered a range of topics including border management agreements and protocols, the agreement on regulations for managing the Vietnam-China land border, and immigration and customs laws. Additionally, the campaign addressed border gate management and provided information on measures to combat smuggling and trade fraud, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding national sovereignty and border security.
The collaborative effort highlights the commitment of both Vietnamese and Chinese authorities to ensure that residents are well-informed about legal frameworks and protocols that govern the border area. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to foster cooperation and mutual understanding between communities on both sides of the border.
