Tunis:A delegation from the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), headed by Hoang Phuc Lam, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, visited Peru from October 9-12. The visit aimed to enhance relationships between the CPV and Peruvian political parties and socio-political organizations, fostering friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Peru.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the delegation engaged in meetings with leaders from the Communist Party of Peru, the Communist Party of Peru - Red Fatherland (Patria Roja), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the General Confederation of Workers of Peru, and representatives from Bitel, a Peruvian brand of Vietnam's Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group.

During these meetings, the delegation presented a book by General Secretary of the CPV Central Committee and President To Lam titled 'The Aspiration for a Strong and Prosperous Vietnam in the New Era.' This presentation aimed to share Vietnam's perspectives, vision, and strategic directions for its new development phase.
