Xi'an:President of the Vietnamese National Assembly, Tran Thanh Man, met with Zhao Yide, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shaanxi province, during his official visit to China. The meeting took place in Xi'an city on October 13.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Shaanxi province is noted for its historical significance as the birthplace of the Chinese revolution. It is also remembered for the collaboration between President Ho Chi Minh and Chinese leaders during their revolutionary efforts.
