Tel aviv: The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel on March 12 issued a notice to the Vietnamese nationals living, studying, and working there, urging heightened caution amid a complex security situation following a surge in missile and drone strikes in recent days. The embassy cited updates from local authorities saying that retaliatory strikes coordinated by Iran and Hezbollah using missiles, rockets and unmanned aerial vehicles have risen sharply in both volume and frequency over the past 24-48 hours. Northern and central Israel have borne the brunt of the attacks.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the embassy's notice emphasized the importance of staying informed about the security situation and following the guidance of local authorities. It also provided contact details for emergency assistance and recommended Vietnamese nationals avoid areas identified as high-risk zones.
The recent escalation of attacks has created an atmosphere of tension and uncertainty among the local population and foreign nationals alike. The embassy's advisory is part of a broader effort to ensure the safety and well-being of Vietnamese citizens residing in the affected areas.
