Hamburg:Vietnamese Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, along with judges from Ghana, Brazil, Tunisia, and India, was sworn in at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) in Hamburg, Germany, on October 1.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Nguyen Thi Lan Anh is the first Vietnamese national to be appointed as a judge at ITLOS since its establishment 30 years ago. Her appointment is a significant milestone for Vietnam's involvement in international judicial institutions.
