Hanoi:A meeting with the Canadian Vietnamese Scientists and Experts Association (CVSEA) highlighted President To Lam's call for Vietnamese professionals in Canada to enhance Vietnam's development through their expertise, particularly in science, technology, and innovation. According to Vietnam News Agency, To Lam, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, commended the contributions of Vietnamese experts and intellectuals in Canada. He emphasized their role as a significant intellectual resource and a vital link between Vietnam, Canada, and the global community.

This event was part of To Lam's state visit to Canada, which also saw the establishment of a Strategic Partnership between the two nations.
