Vietnamese Math Team Sweeps 22 Awards at 2025 Asia Olympiad in Tokyo

Cairo: Vietnam’s 22-member team dominated the 2025 Asia International Mathematical Olympiad (AIMO) final at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, securing awards for all participants, including one Champion title for the top high school score, the AIMO Committee announced on August 5.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Vietnamese team’s outstanding performance at the competition highlighted their skills and commitment to excellence in mathematics. The team’s achievements included a range of distinctions, with each member bringing home an award, showcasing their prowess in the field.

The competition, held at the prestigious Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, attracted teams from across Asia, making Vietnam’s clean sweep of 22 awards all the more remarkable.
