Vietnamese Official Seeks Stronger Ties with Japan During High-Level Meetings

Tokyo: Politburo member, Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee, and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Do Van Chien held a series of meetings with high-ranking Japanese leaders in Tokyo during his three-day visit ending July 29.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meetings were part of a broader effort to strengthen the diplomatic and economic relations between Vietnam and Japan. Do Van Chien engaged in discussions with Japanese officials to explore avenues for collaboration in various sectors, including trade, investment, and cultural exchange.

The visit underscored the commitment of both nations to enhancing their strategic partnership. Do Van Chien expressed Vietnam’s interest in deepening cooperation with Japan, highlighting the importance of bilateral ties in fostering mutual growth and development.

The meetings in Tokyo also provided a platform for both parties to discuss regional and international issues of common interest, aiming to promote peace and stability in the region.
