Chongqing: Politburo member, Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee, and Chairman of its Commission for Internal Affairs, Le Minh Tri, met with Yuan Jiajun, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, and Secretary of the Chongqing municipal Party Committee, during his visit to the Chinese city from July 16 to 18. The meeting took place on July 17 as part of Tri's working visit aimed at enhancing cooperation between Vietnam and China.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Vietnamese delegation, led by Tri, also visited the Hongyan Memorial Museum. This museum is significant as it contains a room where the late President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked under the alias Ho Quang during his revolutionary activities in Chongqing around 1939-1940.
