Vietnamese PM Meets with Heads of Major Chinese Corporations in Tianjin

Tianjin: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received heads of several major Chinese corporations in banking, transport, railway, and construction in Tianjin on June 24. This meeting was part of his four-day trip to attend the 16th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and to undertake a working visit to China.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening economic ties between Vietnam and China, exploring new opportunities for collaboration, and addressing mutual interests in various sectors. The meetings underscored Vietnam’s commitment to fostering partnerships with Chinese enterprises and highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation for regional economic development.

The Prime Minister’s visit to China and his participation in the WEF meeting aim to enhance Vietnam’s economic engagement on the global stage while promoting Vietnamese interests in key industries. These engagements are expected to contribute to Vietnam’s ongoing efforts to attract foreign investment and to bolster economic growth through international partnerships.
