Vientiane:Prime Minister Le Minh Hung arrived in Vientiane on October 8, marking the start of his two-day official visit to Laos. This visit is in response to an invitation from Lao Prime Minister Saleumxay Kommasith.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this trip is the first leg of Le Minh Hung's official journey to neighboring countries since taking office as head of the Vietnamese government. Following his visit to Laos, he is scheduled to travel to Cambodia at the invitation of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet.

Accompanying Prime Minister Le Minh Hung are several high-ranking officials, including Politburo members Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Phan Van Giang, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung.
