Vietnamese University Eyes Closer Cooperation in Higher Education with Laos

Vientiane: A delegation from Hanoi Financial and Banking University (FBU) is paying a working visit to Laos from July 15-18 in order to promote cooperation in higher education. The delegation held working sessions with representatives from the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports and the National University of Laos on July 15 in the capital city of Vientiane, where Chairman of the Board of the FBU Bui Xuan Bien provided an overview of the school’s development process and key achievements in undergraduate and postgraduate education.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening ties between educational institutions in Vietnam and Laos, with an emphasis on collaborative programs that would enhance the quality of higher education in both countries. The sessions are part of ongoing efforts to foster academic exchange and mutual learning opportunities, which both nations consider vital for future educational advancements.

The visit underscores the commitment of both Hanoi Financial and Banking University and Lao educational institutions to improve academic standards and foster innovation through shared expertise and resources. The collaboration aims to create a sustainable framework for educational excellence that benefits students in both Vietnam and Laos.
