Budapest: The ‘Vietnam in Me’ writing contest closing ceremony was held on May 4 at the World Mall in Budapest, Hungary. The event was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary Bui Le Thai, representatives of the Vietnamese Association in Hungary, the Budapest Vietnamese Language Centre, teachers, parents, and Vietnamese students. The contest aimed to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Vietnam-Hungary diplomatic ties and enhance the connection between young overseas Vietnamese in Hungary and their cultural heritage.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the contest served as a platform for Vietnamese youth in Hungary to express their understanding and appreciation of their cultural roots. The event not only celebrated a milestone in diplomatic relations but also fostered a sense of community and identity among the participants.
