Hanoi: Vietnam’s Engineering Unit Rotation 4 is set to depart for the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) Mission following a series of activities in Hanoi on September 16. The unit’s preparation for deployment was marked by significant events that emphasized commitment and respect for national heroes and leaders.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations under the Ministry of National Defence organized a tribute ceremony at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son street. This event was a symbolic gesture to honor the sacrifices and contributions of those who have served the nation.

Additionally, homage was paid at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, further underscoring the unit’s dedication to upholding the values and principles that the former leader represented. These activities reflect the importance placed on national pride and duty as the unit embarks on its international mission.
