Prague:The 2026 Great National Unity Day and Vietnam Culture Day in Europe officially commenced on the morning of October 31 at the Sapa Trade Centre in Prague, Czech Republic. This event marks the first time it is being held in Europe, aiming to unite the Vietnamese diaspora.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event has gathered representatives from Vietnamese communities across 29 countries. Its objectives include strengthening community ties, preserving cultural identity, and fostering a love for the homeland among generations of Vietnamese people living abroad.

The event's inaugural presence in Europe highlights its significance in promoting cultural connections and unity among the Vietnamese diaspora.
