Zarubezhneft-Petrovietnam Cooperation Contributes Substantively to Vietnam-Russia Ties: Deputy PM

Hanoi: The Vietnamese Government will create favourable conditions for the Russian oil and gas company Zarubezhneft to strengthen cooperation with the Vietnam National Industry-Energy Group (Petrovietnam) and other Vietnamese enterprises, affirmed Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc during his reception for Zarubezhneft General Director Sergey Kudryashov, who is on a working visit to Vietnam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting underscored the importance of the collaboration between Zarubezhneft and Petrovietnam in enhancing Vietnam-Russia relations. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the government's commitment to supporting Zarubezhneft's initiatives in the Vietnamese market, highlighting the strategic significance of the oil and gas sector in bilateral ties.

The discussions between the Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Zarubezhneft's General Director revolved around expanding existing projects and exploring new opportunities for cooperation. This collaboration is seen as a crucial element in bolstering economic and trade relations between the two countries, with a focus on sustainable development in the energy sector.
