GamerPay launched their marketplace in May, where it is possible to trade skins safely also if you are a minor under 18. The first game to serve is Counter-Strike, a leading esport title and more titles are coming. “We already see that we are making a difference for the gamers. Witnessing all the great feedback and positivity from the Counter-Strike community is really fuelling the team to build something extraordinary. Coupled with a strong fundraising effort, where we had to turn down investors as we oversubscribed so fast, is making us very excited for the future. In acknowledgement of the size of the problem and the potential of the team, Gamerpay was accepted into Y Combinator (incl. an investment), a prominent American accelerator known for developing unicorns like Airbnb, Stripe, Coinbase, Twitch and more. Following Y Combinator, GamerPay has closed their seed round of $2 million dollars from VCs including FoundersClub (US), PreSeed Ventures (DK), Skyfall (NO) and in addition a range of prominent angel investors like Aleksander Leonard Larsen; co-founder Axie Infinity, Heini Zachariassen; co-founder of Vivino and more.

On the commercial side, GamerPay entered a formal partnership with Ninjas In Pyjamas (NIP), a leading esport team, who like GamerPay has high ambitions to eradicate scamming from gaming so that adults and youngsters under 18 can safely buy and sell skins without the fear of monetary loss.

Schneider Electric’s third-quarter sustainability progress focuses on urgent climate action and meeting 2021 full year commitments

Named as the world’s most sustainable corporation 2021 by the Corporate Knights Global 100 Index, Schneider Electric had announced the acceleration of its sustainability strategy in January 2021, aligned to ongoing commitments to climate, resources, trust, equal opportunities, generations, and local communities.

Schneider Electric continues to engage in positive climate action with the broader business ecosystem by expanding its global sustainability consulting business, and helping organizations make meaningful decarbonization progress. Most recently, Schneider extended its climate strategy partnerships with Velux, Alfa Laval and DuPont. Ambarella, Inc. today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Ohio-based Oculii Corporation. Oculii’s adaptive AI software algorithms are designed to enable radar perception using current production radar chips to achieve significantly higher (up to 100X) resolution, longer range and greater accuracy.

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Oct. 26, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Ambarella, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMBA), an AI vision silicon company, today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Ohio-based Oculii Corporation (“Oculii”). Oculii’s adaptive AI software algorithms are designed to enable radar perception using current production radar chips to achieve significantly higher (up to 100X) resolution, longer range and greater accuracy. These improvements eliminate the need for specialized high-resolution radar chips, which have significantly higher power consumption and cost than conventional radar solutions. Oculii’s software can be deployed on Ambarella’s existing CVflow® SoCs, operating in conjunction with leading radar RF solutions to increase safety and reliability.

The acquisition expands Ambarella’s addressable market into radar perception and fusion with its existing edge AI CV perception SoCs for automotive and other IoT endpoint applications, including mobile robotics and security. The fusion of Ambarella’s camera technology and Oculii’s radar software stack provides an all-weather, low-cost and scalable perception solution, enabling higher levels of autonomy for automotive tier 1s and OEMs globally.
