Art, Ao Dai Strengthen Vietnam-Malaysia Friendship

Kuala lumpur: A cultural event titled ‘Vietnam Art Parade’ was held in Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur on August 24 to mark the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2025) and the 68th anniversary of Malaysia’s National Day (August 31, 1957 – 2025).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event celebrated the enduring friendship between Vietnam and Malaysia through art and cultural displays, highlighting the significance of traditional Vietnamese attire, the ao dai, as a symbol of cultural pride and unity. The parade featured a variety of performances and exhibitions that showcased Vietnam’s rich artistic heritage and its contemporary cultural expressions.

The event attracted a diverse audience, including government officials, diplomats, and locals who gathered to appreciate the cultural exchange and strengthen bilateral relations.
