Tay ninh: Breeding cows were provided to poor households along the Vietnam-Cambodia border as part of the second Vietnam-Cambodia Border Defence Friendship Exchange. Leaders from the Border Guard High Command and Tay Ninh province in Vietnam, along with representatives from Svay Teap district in Cambodia’s Svay Rieng province, participated in the event.
According to Vietnam News Agency, a total of 20 breeding cows were distributed to 20 households, with 10 cows going to Long Thuan commune in Tay Ninh and another 10 to Monorom commune in Svay Teap district. Each cow was valued at 20 million VND, equivalent to 760 USD. The initiative aims to support the livelihood of poor households living along the shared border of the two countries.
