Chinese Embassy supports school nutrition improvement in Lang Son

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society (VRCS) and the Chinese Embassy on July 17 held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new semi-boarding kitchen at Kim Dong primary school in the northern border province of Lang Son’s Trang Dinh district, aiming to provide better care and meals for its students. Funded by a non-refundable grant from the embassy, the project is valued at 200,000 CNY (27,551 USD), covering expenses for the building of the kitchen and related equipment and utensils. Meanwhile, nearly one third of the sum will be used to improve students’ lunch meals for one year.
