'Coach Che' plans to send athletes to participate in 2 open taekwondo competitions to replace the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games that were cancelled. 'Coach Che' Chatchai Che, head coach of the Thai national taekwondo team, spoke after the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) announced the cancellation of Thailand's hosting of the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Bangkok and Chonburi Province, which will be hosted from November 21-30. 'Coach Che' said that it was a pity that the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games were cancelled. The association had already prepared athletes and trained them. Now, they have discussed with Asst. Prof. Pimol Srivikorn, President of the Taekwondo Association of Thailand, to find tournaments to send athletes to compete instead. They have planned 2 events, one in October and one in November, at the open level, public category. Right now, we have 9-10 athletes. Meanwhile, Mr. Sermsak Pongpanich, Minister of Tourism and Sports, presided over the reception of herbal produ cts from Thai Herbs Hong Thai Co., Ltd., totaling 1,200 dozen, to the Sports Authority of Thailand to be delivered to the Thai national athletes and the Sports Association of Thailand who participated in the 33rd Olympic Games in Paris, France.
