Hanoi: The final of the Vietnamese language contest 'Toi yeu tieng nuoc toi' (I love my mother tongue) took place on August 23 in Higashi Osaka, Japan, marking the 81st anniversary of Vietnam's August Revolution and National Day. The event was attended by the Vietnamese Consul General in Osaka, Nguyen Truong Son, alongside representatives from various associations, artists, parents, and the Vietnamese community residing in the Kansai region.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the contest aimed to preserve and promote the Vietnamese language among young people living abroad, particularly in Japan. The competition attracted a significant number of participants, reflecting a strong interest in maintaining cultural heritage and linguistic ties among the younger Vietnamese diaspora.
