Da nang: Construction of the Da Nang-Sekong Friendship Hospital was launched on April 1 in Sekong province, southern Laos, highlighting growing cooperation between localities of the two countries. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Secretary of the Da Nang municipal Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Sekong Party Committee Bounlai Boutthi, the Vietnamese Consul General in Champasak, the Lao Consul General in Da Nang, and representatives from relevant agencies of both countries.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this initiative marks a significant step in strengthening bilateral ties between Da Nang and Sekong. The hospital project is expected to enhance healthcare access in the region and foster closer relations through collaborative development efforts.
