Hanoi: The UNESCO-recognised Hue Imperial City relic site in the central city of Hue was re-opened on November 4 to welcome its first international visitors after being closed due to severe floodings in recent days.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the site had been temporarily closed as a safety precaution following the adverse weather conditions that impacted the region. The reopening marks a significant step towards normalcy as the city recovers from the aftermath of the floods.
