Ha Giang: The northern mountainous province of Ha Giang and Hoi An city in the central province of Quang Nam have been ranked among the Top 44 most beautiful places in the world by renowned UK-based travel magazine Time Out. The magazine ranked Ha Giang in tenth place, highlighting its winding mountain passes, terraced rice paddies, and the presence of 43 different ethnic groups.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Time Out describes Ha Giang’s combination of natural and cultural elements as giving the province an otherworldly air. Meanwhile, the publication notes that life in Hoi An moves at a leisurely pace, described as being slow and sweet, which adds to its charm and appeal.
