Ho Chi Minh City Urged to Lead Technological Advancements, Says Deputy PM

Hanoi: Ho Chi Minh City is expected to play a pioneering role in developing, testing, and scaling up new models, products, and approaches, contributing to institutional improvements and the nationwide replication of effective initiatives, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung has said. He made the remarks at Conviction 2026, a national-level forum on Digital Assets and Artificial Intelligence, which opened in Ho Chi Minh City on August 14.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the city's strategic position in fostering technological innovation and its potential to influence broader national policies. The forum, Conviction 2026, serves as a platform for discussing the integration of digital assets and artificial intelligence into various sectors, aiming to position Vietnam as a leader in technology-driven solutions.
