Hanoi: As part of the Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities in the Hue Imperial City, the Champa room displaying a collection of antiquities symbolizing Champa art has attracted a lot of visitors. Described by researchers and tourists as "a museum within a museum," this specific gallery offers a mystical journey back in time to the ancient Kingdom of Champa. It currently preserves a total of 86 original sandstone artifacts, with around 28 to 30 prominent pieces on permanent display. The artifacts date back from the 7th to the 14th-15th centuries, spanning several eras of Champa art. According to Vietnam News Agency, the collection is highly appreciated for its diversity, exceptional artistic value, and the historical narrative around the cultural intersection between the Nguyen Dynasty and ancient Champa culture.
